Today was a good day I was able to make my way up and down the stairs with no crutches, and take a shower standing up. Its amazing how the little things make a big difference. Its all about the little victories.

Best Motivational Poster ever!!!!!!


Things are going well for me I used only one crutch to get around for long distances at work today so that was cool. On Friday of last week I was able to finally able to put my pants on standing up. Before I would have to stand, put my injured leg in sit down, put my good leg in, then stand up and pull my pants up, serious pain in the butt. I even started to be more stable and stand in the shower. Its amazing how little things like these really help me have a better out look on the whole situation.

That is the small news. Last night President Obama announced that the most evil man in the world Bin Laden was finally taken out. To the men and women involved in the operation supporting and pulling triggers, you kick ass. GO U-S-A!!!!

Had PT today got a lot of time with Graston. Aimee (my therapist) didn't have an appt after me so I got a little longer session, glad to have gotten it!

Standing leg 15 degrees from straight 3 degree improvement since last week
Standing knee flexion (standing hamstring curl) 60 degrees 5 degree improvement since last week.
After Graston manipulation seated was able to bend knee to 70 degrees movement to 73 degrees with outside tension applied.

Uplifting for me to see continued improvement.

wanted to be him...admit it.


Yesterday I was sick as a dog, bad fever chills, total body soreness which only made my knee pain even worse. I only had two pieces of toast all day long. I feel much better today a little worn of from being dehydrated and not eating all of yesterday. I am just glad its over.

One of the TV shows I have found lately was ESPN E:60 I don't really know how to describe it. The best I could come up with is a grab bag of athletes life stories, unique sports and real life drama played out in sports.

Here is the official ESPN description:

But its a great show so I decide to check out the E:60 Blog and came across this pic and just loved it.
